Goodbye 2014. Hello 2015.

It is insanely crazy how quickly 2014 flew by.
But it has been our best year yet!
2014 was a big year for us and part of me is sad to see it go but we are excited for 2015.

In 2014....
We panned our wedding for 8 months and enjoyed our wonderful & fun wedding day.
Zach started school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
I completed my yoga teacher training.
We hiked the Pali highway.
Zach went to Mt. Whitney with his brothers and dad.
We drove along the Pacific Coast highway...stopped in Big Sur, Monterey, and Santa Cruz.
We spent time with our amazing friends who we don't get to see all that often.
I got promoted to office manager.
We moved into an apartment we love.
We had a white Christmas in Utah.
We fell asleep at 9:30pm on New Years Eve {first time ever we didn't stay up till midnight}

With a new year comes new goals....
We want to travel to some other islands
I want to begin teaching yoga
I want to blog more
Zach wants to continue doing well in school
Celebrate Zach's 30th birthday
Zach is working on growing out his hair again.
We both want to work out more
and continue doing our Sunday hikes
We need to eat more fruits and veggies
We want to stick to our budget and save money
and we are hoping to have a few visitors this year

It will be fun to see where we go in 2015!

Happy New Year

A White Christmas

We got our wish for a white Christmas!

Of course our week in Utah went by too quickly and it didn't help that us and the whole Collins family got sick but we had a nice Christmas and it was great being with family.

It hadn't snowed in the valley yet when we arrived but on Christmas morning we woke up to snow and it snowed all day. I loved it!

It was cold!
I love this picture of my bearded husband.

Our first night in Utah we had dinner and went to a Christmas concert with my mom and Dan and his family. It was nice seeing all the Christmas lights in downtown Salt Lake and the concert was a lot of fun.

Sunday night we spent time with Zach's family.

The littles loved building a fort and playing hide and seek with Uncle Zach.

We loved meeting and holding baby McKay!

It was nice of Zach's family having my mom and Dan over for game night.

We drove to a park to see this awesome tree.

Driving through the farm lands of Utah...
just some snow capped mountains and wide open road.

Christmas Eve we spent with my mom and Dan
and Christmas day we were with the Collins family.

Zach's brother, Jonathan and his family surprised everyone and flew in Christmas Eve so the whole Collins family was together for Christmas.

The littles were very excited to open up their presents.
We had fun watching them.

It was a Christmas miracle that is snowed on Christmas morning!

We had a lot of fun with all the nieces and nephews.
Baby Shane grew a lot since we last saw him in August.

Noah didn't know what to think of the snow.

Loved our first Christmas as Mr. & Mrs.

The Collins Family

We are grateful we got to spend our Christmas in Utah!
A big thank you to our families!
